How to Pay Income Tax in New Portal
Step 1 - Visit Income Tax Login Page
https://eportal.incometax.gov.in/iec/foservices/#/login and Login with User id and Password
Step 2 - Select e-pay Tax under e-File Tab.
Step 3 - Click on New Payment
Step 4 - Select Income Tax Tab as Show below for payment of Advance tax or Self Assessment Tax and Click on Proceed
Step 5 - Select Assessment Year as 2023-24 and Type of Payment as Self Assessment Tax (300) and Click on Continue
Step 6 - Fill Tax Details as show below and Click on Continue
Step 7 - Select Appropriate Payment option like Netbanking, Debit Card, UPI etc.
Step 8 - Click On Pay Now
Step 9 - Accept Declaration and Submit to Bank
Step 10 - After payment confirmation receipt will be generated.
